Plot Synopsis
Set in ancient India, Kannappa narrates the transformative journey of Thinnadu. a tribal hunter from the Chenchu community. Initially an atheist, Thinnadu stumbles upon a Shiva Lingam in the forest and. moved by an inexplicable reverence, begins to worship it in his own way. offering what he has—water from his mouth and meat from his hunts. His sincere and unconventional devotion is accepted by Lord Shiva. When he notices the Lingam bleeding from one eye, Thinnadu plucks out his own eye to stop the bleeding. As the other eye of the Lingam begins to bleed, he prepares to offer his remaining eye. marking the spot with his foot to ensure accuracy. Moved by this ultimate act of devotion. Lord Shiva appears, restores his sight, and grants him liberation .
